Our client, a leading Further Education provider in South East London, is seeking an experienced and inspiring Assistant Principal to provide strategic leadership across its 16–19 curriculum provision.

Key responsibilities
- Leading the strategic development of Study Programmes across multiple campuses
- Driving outstanding teaching, learning and assessment outcomes
- Supporting curriculum innovation aligned to local and regional skills needs
- Leading quality improvement, performance management and inspection readiness
- Overseeing English, maths and tutorial provision
- Managing staffing, budgets and resources effectively
- Developing employer engagement and commercially focused provision
- Championing safeguarding, inclusion and student voice
- Using performance data to drive continuous improvement and learner success
- Required qualifications
- Significant leadership experience within Further Education or a comparable educational environment
- Proven curriculum planning and quality improvement expertise
- Strong understanding of FE funding, qualifications and compliance frameworks
- A recognised teaching qualification
- Degree-level education
- Evidence of continued professional development
- Excellent communication, leadership and analytical skills
- Experience managing and developing high‑performing teams
