Electromechanical Assembly Technician – Location: Aylesford, Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum (DOE), Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.
About the Role Our client is a well‑established engineering and manufacturing business delivering advanced power, monitoring and control solutions across a range of specialist industries.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Electromechanical Assembly Technician to join their skilled Assembly team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a practical engineering background who enjoys hands‑on assembly work and takes pride in building high‑quality products from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities Assemble electromechanical components and systems from engineering drawings, schematics and bill of materials.
Install contactors, MCBs, RCBOs, sensors, wiring harnesses and PCBs.
Carry out wiring, cable routing and soldering work to a high standard.
Ensure correct insulation, earthing and compliance with electrical safety requirements.
Complete mechanical fastening and electrical assembly tasks accurately.
Maintain quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, Eplan and Auto CAD documentation.
Experience using hand tools, crimpers and soldering equipment.
Strong wiring, crimping and soldering skills.
Reliable, proactive and safety‑conscious approach.
Enthusiastic team player with a willingness to learn.
Prior experience in electromechanical assembly, electrical manufacturing, lift engineering or similar environments is advantageous.
