About the Role

Our client, a highly successful and internationally recognised electronics manufacturer, is seeking an Machine Operator to join their production team in Dartford.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing experience who is looking to develop their career within electronics production.

Full training will be provided, making this role suitable for both experienced SMT operators and candidates with a manufacturing background looking to learn new skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate both automated and manual surface mount manufacturing processes
  • Set up, run and adjust SMT printers, pick and place machines, ovens and AOI equipment
  • Monitor equipment performance and maintain operational standards
  • Ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved
  • Follow technical instructions and manufacturing diagrams
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
  • Comply with all health, safety and hazardous material handling procedures
  • Support continuous improvement within the production department

Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Surface Mount experience advantageous but not essential
  • Experience with Europlacer pick and place equipment would be beneficial
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow technical instructions and diagrams
