Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities across commercial, industrial and residential markets
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Arrange and attend client meetings and site visits
- Follow up quotations to maximise conversion rates
- Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
- Identify upcoming projects and tender opportunities
- Promote repeat business and client referrals
- Work closely with estimating and operational teams
- Achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs
- Represent the business at networking and industry events
Requirements
- Previous experience in sales, business development or account management
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Proven ability to win new business
- Self‑motivated and target driven
- Strong organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience within construction, civil engineering, highways, surfacing, aggregates or a related industry would be advantageous
