The Opportunity
Morgan Jones is recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation looking to appoint a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join its Facilities Management team. This is a varied role involving the delivery of both planned preventative maintenance and reactive electrical repairs across a portfolio of commercial properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining safe and efficient electrical systems while providing a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend reactive maintenance callouts and complete first-fix repairs where possible.
- Identify faults and assess repair requirements.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance in accordance with maintenance schedules.
- Complete repairs arising from Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).
- Produce minor works certification where required.
- Maintain accurate and auditable maintenance records.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety legislation and procedures.
- Build positive relationships with clients and site contacts.
- Participate in the on-call rota when required.
- Support wider operational and maintenance activities as needed.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering.
- 18th Edition qualification.
- Experience undertaking planned and reactive maintenance.
- Experience carrying out repairs and minor electrical works within commercial environments.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification.
