About the Role
Our Client is seeking a motivated and hands-on Production Operative to join their manufacturing team, working specifically on assembly machines. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and an interest in production to join a fast-paced, supportive environment. Working within the Production team, you will play a key role in ensuring products are assembled efficiently, to a high standard, and in line with daily production targets. This is a physically active role suited to someone who enjoys practical, on-the-floor work.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and support assembly machinery to produce finished products
- Carry out a range of production tasks including assembling and packaging
- Maintain equipment to reduce downtime and maximise efficiency
- Ensure all work meets required quality standards
- Follow health and safety procedures and promote a safe working environment
- Support LEAN manufacturing principles and continuous improvement activity
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient work area
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to meet daily production targets
- Contribute to team meetings and ongoing improvement initiatives
About You
- Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment
