Manufacturing Manager Location: Ashford, Kent Salary: £40,000 - £45, 000 + bonusesContract: Full Time, Permanent The Opportunity Morgan Jones is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing specialist manufacturing business seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead production operations and support the continued success of the site. This is a key leadership role where you will be responsible for driving operational performance, improving efficiencies and developing a culture focused on safety, quality and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality and delivery targets. Manage, coach and develop production teams. Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor and improve KPIs, including productivity, quality, OEE and cost performance. Manage operational budgets and resources effectively. Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards. Work collaboratively with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality and Supply Chain teams. Identify opportunities to improve performance and reduce downtime. About You Degree or equivalent qualification in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management or a related discipline. Significant manufacturing management experience within a fast-paced production environment. Proven leadership experience with a track record of developing high-performing teams. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies. Experience managing budgets, KPIs and operational performance. Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
