The role
Our client is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Estates Campus Manager to take ownership of a large and diverse educational estate. This is a senior, hands-on role combining campus leadership with group-wide responsibility for procurement and contract management. Youβll play a key part in shaping high-quality, safe and sustainable learning environments, leading estates teams, managing external partners, and delivering value for money across multiple sites.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead estates, facilities and compliance activity across the main campus
- Oversee procurement and contract management for multi-site services
- Manage KPIs, SLAs, renewals and supplier performance
- Deliver planned and reactive maintenance, capital and minor works
- Act as internal lead for health, safety and statutory compliance
- Line manage and develop on-site estates teams
- Oversee emergency planning, PEEPs and site security procedures
- Drive sustainability initiatives and support net-zero objectives
- Liaise with local authorities, contractors and key stakeholders
About you:
- Proven experience in estates or facilities management, ideally within education
- Strong leadership experience managing operational teams
- Solid knowledge of compliance, health & safety and statutory testing
- Experience in procurement, contract management and supplier negotiation
- Confident using digital systems, including Microsoft Office 365
- Facilities management qualification and Level 2 English & Maths (or equivalent)
- Procurement qualification, or willingness to work towards one
