About the Role

Our client, a leading educational institution, is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Cleaner to join their dedicated team. This role is vital to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all students, staff, and visitors.

You’ll be part of a friendly, proactive cleaning team, working under the guidance of the Estates department to deliver top-notch cleanliness and hygiene standards across the campus. You must have an Enhanced DBS or be willing to do one.

Responsibilities Include:

  • General Cleaning: Perform tasks such as vacuuming, surface cleaning, mopping, and internal glass cleaning
  • Waste Management: Handle waste disposal in line with recycling procedures
  • Deep Cleaning: Undertake sanitising and deep cleaning duties as needed
  • Equipment and Safety: Use cleaning tools and products safely and report any equipment faults to the Estates team
  • Health & Safety: Follow organisational health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for everyone
  • Customer Service: Maintain a high standard of customer service, timekeeping, and attendance

Key Objectives:

  • Provide a visible, friendly, and professional cleaning service that positively reflects the campus environment
  • Collaborate with the Estates team to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard

  • You will be flexible, adaptable, and able to respond to shifting priorities
  • Must have previous experience in a cleaning role
