We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an IT Infrastructure & Security Technician to support the day-to-day operation, maintenance and security of a busy and evolving IT environment.

Key responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor IT infrastructure including networks, servers and user devices
- Support LAN, WAN, switches, Hyper-V, SAN and telephony systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and security incidents
- Assist with patching, updates and vulnerability remediation
- Support audit preparation including Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO 27001 and GDPR
- Maintain security controls, policies and documentation
- Assist with IT stock management and procurement
- Support security awareness and training tracking
- Work with wider teams to resolve incidents in line with SLAs
What we are looking for
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an IT role
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills
- Experience with helpdesk systems and ticketing tools
Desirable
- Knowledge of O365, Hyper-V, Meraki or endpoint management tools
- Understanding of cyber security frameworks and practices
- Relevant qualifications such as CompTIA Security+
