We’re looking for a skilled Digital Press Operator to join our clients busy Whitstable production team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced print environment and enjoys taking ownership of high‑quality digital print output from file creation to final production.

Responsibilities:

  • Create print‑ready files — preparing artwork to production standards, ensuring accuracy, colour consistency, and correct file formatting.
  • Operate digital presses — running and maintaining digital print equipment, monitoring output quality, and troubleshooting minor issues.
  • Manage print production workflow — coordinating jobs through the production schedule to meet deadlines.
  • Add T‑cards into workflow system — updating job status and ensuring all work is tracked accurately through the internal system.
  • Quality‑checking printed materials to ensure they meet customer and production standards.
  • Collaborating with the wider production team to maintain smooth, efficient operations.
