Trainee Fitter Ramsgate (Field-Based Role) £30,900 per annum Permanent Our client is seeking a Trainee Fitter to join their growing installation team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and wants to develop specialist skills within a well-established business. Working alongside experienced fitters, you will assist with the installation of bespoke interiors and architectural finishes on sites across London and the South East. Full training and ongoing support will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to progress within the industry. Why Join Our Client? * Competitive salary of £30,900 per annum * Full training and development programme * Industry-recognised qualifications provided * Structured career progression opportunities * Supportive and experienced team environment * Varied and rewarding field-based role * Opportunity to work on unique projects Key Responsibilities * Assist with installation projects on customer sites * Read and interpret technical drawings and site information * Safely use hand and power tools * Complete work to high quality and safety standards * Carry out quality inspections of completed work * Report site issues and installation challenges * Complete end-of-shift and progress reports * Work closely with colleagues, project teams and customers * Maintain excellent housekeeping and site presentation * Drive company vehicles when required Requirements * Previous experience within construction, manufacturing, installation or a similar environment is advantageous * Valid CSCS Card * Full UK driving licence * Good practical and problem-solving skills * Strong attention to detail * Positive attitude and willingness to learn * Good communication and teamwork skills * Commitment to health and safety standards Training will include industry-recognised courses such as EOR202, Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling, Harness Essentials, Lift and Escalator Access and Egress, and Scaffold Tower Training.
