HGV Service Engineer
Location: Strood
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: 40 Hours per Week + Overtime
The Opportunity
- Morgan Jones is recruiting on behalf of a well-established commercial vehicle organisation that is looking to add an experienced HGV Vehicle Technician to its busy workshop team in Strood.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults and carry out vehicle testing
- Service, maintain and repair heavy commercial vehicles and components
- Identify and report defects or potential mechanical issues
- Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately
- Ensure all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
Requirements
- Previous experience working on HGVs or heavy commercial vehicles
- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Full UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous)
- Good computer literacy skills
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Positive team-player attitude
