We are recruiting confidentially for a growing fresh produce business seeking an experienced Technical Manager to support its Head of Technical and play a key role across customer, site, and compliance functions.

Key responsibilities:
- Manage product specifications and customer platforms
- Maintain temporary spec trackers and due diligence systems
- Investigate complaints and non-conformances, driving resolution
- Support QC and deputise in absence of Quality Manager
- Conduct supplier and third-party packing site visits
- Maintain technical documentation and approve labelling
- Lead internal audits and ensure GMP compliance
- Manage policy and procedure updates for food safety and quality
- Lead HACCP team and support BRCGS and Red Tractor standards
- Deliver training, maintain records, and lead SMM reporting
- Host external audits (BRCGS, RT, LEAF)
- Drive food safety culture across site
