Location - Sandwich, Kent

Salary - Highly Competitive DOE

Hours - 8 am to 4.45 pm Monday to Thursday, and the working Friday is 8 am to 4 pm

We have a great opportunity in Sandwich for a Store Operative to work for one of our clients. In this role, you will be working a full-time 9-day fortnight (every other Friday is a non-working day).

Responsibilities for the role of Stores Operative:
  • Goods In activities of receipting, counting and ERP data entry
  • Warehouse maintenance including stock movements and stock control using the ERP system
  • Allocation of stock and the kitting of components into Works Packages
  • Maintaining traceability of goods and materials
  • Preparing materials for shipping to external processors and the receipt of goods after outside processing has taken place
  • Packing of goods ready for dispatch following industry standards or customer requirements
  • Booking of couriers and the despatch of goods ensuring that Export Compliance rules are followed
  • Other duties as deemed reasonable
Skills and Experience for the Role of Store Operative:
  • Forklift License (not essential)
  • English and Maths GCSE Grade 4
  • Experience working within a warehouse environment or similar
  • Effective communicator
  • Computer literate
  • Customer/quality focused
