We have a great opportunity in Sandwich for a Store Operative to work for one of our clients. In this role, you will be working a full-time 9-day fortnight (every other Friday is a non-working day).
Responsibilities for the role of Stores Operative:- Goods In activities of receipting, counting and ERP data entry
- Warehouse maintenance including stock movements and stock control using the ERP system
- Allocation of stock and the kitting of components into Works Packages
- Maintaining traceability of goods and materials
- Preparing materials for shipping to external processors and the receipt of goods after outside processing has taken place
- Packing of goods ready for dispatch following industry standards or customer requirements
- Booking of couriers and the despatch of goods ensuring that Export Compliance rules are followed
- Other duties as deemed reasonable
- Forklift License (not essential)
- English and Maths GCSE Grade 4
- Experience working within a warehouse environment or similar
