Skills Coach / Lecturer opportunity within an apprenticeship setting. Coach, assess and mentor apprentices through to EPA, working closely with employers. Flexible delivery, strong learner focus, quality-driven environment and genuine impact on learner success.

Location: Bromley

Salary: £19.12 - £22 per hour

Hours: Part - Time, 29.5 Hours per week

Contract Type: Temporary role until 3rd July 2026

Morgan Jones is working confidentially on behalf of a respected education provider seeking an experienced Skills Coach / Lecturer to support apprentices through to successful End Point Assessment. This is a varied, learner-focused role combining coaching, assessment and teaching, with responsibility for apprentice progress from enrolment to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach, mentor, and assess a caseload of apprentices against relevant standards
  • Deliver teaching and targeted support where knowledge, skills or behaviour gaps exist
  • Complete initial and diagnostic assessments and create individual learning plans
  • Monitor progress and ensure apprentices are fully prepared for the gateway and EPA
  • Conduct regular reviews with learners and employers, including 10-weekly reviews
  • Plan and evidence off-the-job training in line with requirements
  • Maintain accurate records using the e-portfolio system
  • Liaise with curriculum, quality and employer stakeholders
  • Contribute to quality assurance, standardisation and continuous improvement
What our client is looking for
  • Level 3 vocational qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant area
  • Assessor qualification (A1/D32/D33/D34 or working towards)
  • Teaching qualification (PTTLS minimum or working towards)
  • Strong vocational knowledge and recent sector experience
  • Excellent communication, organisation and relationship-building skills
  • Full UK driving licence

A current and valid ENHANCED DBS is required for this role.
