Are you a commercially minded graduate or early career professional with an interest in defence, engineering or technology? Our client is a leading designer and manufacturer of advanced electro-optical and electronic systems used in defence, security, and surveillance applications worldwide. They are looking to recruit a Commercial & Marketing Coordinator to join their growing Sales & Business Development team.
This is an incredibly varied role where no two days are the same. You'll support marketing activity, coordinate exhibitions and demonstrations, maintain product information, work closely with engineers and sales teams, and help showcase cutting-edge defence technology to customers around the world. This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys project coordination, customer interaction, organisation and marketing, and has an interest in innovative technology.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating exhibitions, demonstrations and customer events
- Managing marketing literature, brochures and product documentation
- Supporting the company website and social media platforms
- Maintaining marketing data sheets and presentations
- Preparing demonstration equipment for customer visits and exhibitions
- Coordinating product loans and demonstration equipment
- Assisting with customer training material and product familiarisation
- Working closely with Sales, Engineering and Operations teams
- Supporting new customer enquiries and marketing administration
- Helping ensure projects and events are delivered on time and within budget
We're looking for:
- Degree (or equivalent) in Business, Marketing or a related subject
- Genuine interest in defence, military or advanced engineering
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Positive, proactive attitude
- Full UK driving licence
- Valid passport
- Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC)
