Painter & Decorator
Role: Our Client is seeking an experienced Estates Group Decorator to support the upkeep and enhancement of college buildings across all campuses.
Reporting to the Director of Estates, Facilities, Health & Safety and Security, you will play a key role in maintaining high visual and safety standards across a diverse estate.
This is a cross‑site position requiring regular travel, flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and the ability to manage a varied workload independently and as part of a wider Estates team.

Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, filling and removal of old coverings.
- Apply paints, varnishes, stains and protective coatings to internal and external surfaces.
- Install internal and external vinyl coverings.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure correct branding, colours and finishes.
- Develop and manage a planned schedule of decorating works across all campuses.
- Carry out planned maintenance tasks and respond to reactive repair requests.
- Perform sealing and mastic work in bathrooms, kitchens and other suitable areas.
- Assist with general maintenance duties such as exam room setups or furniture moves.
- Comply fully with COSHH and health & safety regulations.
- Work safely at height, including use of scaffolding or platforms when required. About You:
- Proven experience in painting and decorating.
- Recognised industry qualification (NVQ or equivalent).
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Knowledge of health and safety compliance.
- Organised, methodical and able to manage competing priorities.
- Strong communication and team‑working skills.
