The opportunity
Our client is seeking an Electrical Engineering specialist ready to move from industry into education. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire the next generation while sharing your technical expertise in a supportive FE environment.
You’ll deliver engaging, industry-informed teaching across Level 3–5 programmes, helping learners develop the knowledge and practical skills needed for modern engineering careers.
What you’ll do:
- Deliver T Levels, BTEC, HNC and HND Engineering modules
- Bring real-world experience into teaching and learning
- Support student progress, achievement and career development
- Build links with employers to enhance work-based learning
- Use practical, theoretical and digital delivery methods
- Work collaboratively within a motivated curriculum team
About you:
- Level 4+ qualification in Electrical Engineering (or similar)
- Strong industry background and technical expertise
- Teaching qualification and assessor award desirable (training provided)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for developing learners and supporting progression
