We have a fantastic opportunity in Potter's Bar for an Animal Technician to work for one of our clients. You will be working full-time, on a weekly rota which will include some weekend work.
Responsibilities for the role of an Animal Technician:
- Contribute to and monitor the welfare of the animals closely
- Clean animal cages and all tools thoroughly, following strict hygiene procedures
- Feeding and seeing to the general well-being of the animals
- Carry out weaning procedures
- Pack orders according to customers' requests
- Contribute to the maintenance of an efficient Quality Management System
- Other duties as deemed reasonable
Skills and Experience for the role of an Animal Technician:
- Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Able to follow detailed instructions
- Demonstrate a flexible attitude and willingness to acquire and learn new skills, new knowledge, and new ways of working
- Be patient and courteous
- Have the ability to work under strict hygiene conditions
- Due to the location, you must hold a full UK driving licence
