Temp Customer Order Management Administrators needed in Peterborough. 6‑month contract starting mid‑June 2026. Hybrid working (3 days onsite). £13.49 PAYE. Great opportunity to support a busy COM team with order processing, data and admin tasks.

We’re working confidentially with a well‑established organisation in Peterborough who are seeking two Customer Order Management Administrators to provide temporary support to their Customer Order Management team during a busy period. This is a 6‑month PAYE contract, ideal for someone who enjoys structured, process‑driven work and takes pride in accuracy and meeting targets.

Job summary and responsibilities:

  • Provide non-customer-facing administrative support to the COM team
  • Accurately process customer orders within internal systems and deadlines
  • Manually allocate parts to orders and support the full order life cycle
  • Compile and distribute export and shipping documentation
  • Maintain, cleanse and update system data to ensure accuracy
  • Prepare and distribute standard internal reports
  • Identify issues, escalate where required and suggest process improvements
  • Work towards agreed team targets and service level agreements

About you:

  • Previous order management experience or strong transferable admin skills
  • Comfortable with repetitive, detail‑focused tasks
  • Confident using MS Office and internal systems
  • Reliable, organised and able to work under supervision
