Hands-on Caretaker needed in Medway to keep a modern innovation site running smoothly. Varied maintenance, porterage and site support role with autonomy, stable hours and out-of-hours overtime opportunities. Ideal for a practical, reliable all rounder.
Key responsibilities include:
- Opening and securing buildings
- General cleaning and presentation of internal areas
- Setting up meeting rooms and moving furniture
- Porterage and delivery of bulky items
- Basic maintenance, including painting, minor repairs and replacing light bulbs
- Preparing offices for new tenants
- External upkeep, including litter picking, jet washing and gritting
- Managing bins and smoking areas
- Weekly fire alarm testing
- Overseeing contractors on site
- Supporting the Centre Manager with ad-hoc tasks
- Providing occasional out-of-hours support
