Salary: £27,500 – £35,000 per annum DOE
Monday to Friday, 9 am–5.30 pm

Our client is seeking a driven Junior Finance Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and performance management across the business. This role is ideal for someone analytical, eager to learn, and keen to gain exposure to business partnering and commercial finance.

Key Responsibilities- Support finance business partnering with the Commercial and Operations teams
- Build understanding of the company’s strategic and operational performance
- Assist with monthly financial reviews, analysis, and commentary
- Help monitor financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and targets
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Assist in reviewing and documenting financial processes and controls
- Provide analytical insight into trends, risks, and opportunities
- Ensure financial data accuracy and timely reporting
- Support internal control compliance
- Assist with statutory reporting, Board packs, and management information
- Support HMRC submissions, VAT returns, and Corporation Tax preparation
- Assist with UK GAAP and IFRS compliance requirements
- Support audits, statutory accounts, and regulatory filings
- Undertake additional finance projects as required
- Strong analytical ability with some exposure to finance or data analysis
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Positive, proactive attitude with willingness to learn
- Flexibility to meet business priorities
