Our client, a highly respected organisation operating within a research and development environment, is seeking an experienced Senior Administrative Assistant to provide efficient administrative and business support to managers and wider teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, organised and professional administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with a variety of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing complex calendars and scheduling meetings
- Organising travel arrangements and processing expenses
- Coordinating meetings, visits and event logistics
- Producing and formatting presentations, spreadsheets and documents
- Maintaining departmental records, distribution lists and online filing systems
- Supporting onboarding and offboarding activities for employees and contractors
- Assisting with interview coordination and recruitment logistics
- Ordering office supplies and equipment
- Providing administrative support across multiple projects
- Acting as a knowledgeable point of contact for internal processes and procedures
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless administrative support
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years' administrative experience
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
- Professional, discreet and highly dependable approach
- Experience supporting senior leaders or R&D teams would be advantageous
- A-level, associate degree or bachelor’s Degree desirable
