About the Role
Our Client is seeking an innovative and proactive Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing manufacturing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineering professional to play a key role in driving operational efficiency, process improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives across a modern production environment. Working closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams, you will be responsible for optimising manufacturing and assembly processes, improving productivity, and supporting the delivery of high-quality products. The successful candidate will be passionate about Lean Manufacturing principles and committed to delivering practical solutions that improve performance, quality, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and improve assembly and manufacturing processes to drive standardisation and efficiency.
- Create and maintain digital work instructions and process documentation.
- Implement process controls and quality measures to support a right first time culture.
- Develop visual management systems, KPI boards, and performance reporting tools.
- Lead and support continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
- Design and implement jigs, fixtures, tooling, shadow boards, and handling solutions.
