About the Role and Client
We are recruiting confidentially on behalf of our client for a Service Improvement Lead to spearhead a short-term digital exploration project within Adult Social Care. This role focuses on identifying opportunities to leverage automation, AI, and digital platforms to enhance processes and outcomes.
You will develop a robust business case, including cost-benefit analysis, ROI assessment, and risk evaluation, while collaborating with ICT, Digital, Business Change, and Adult Social Care Transformation teams to ensure alignment with internal systems and the Medway 2.0 programme.
Responsibilities
- Lead digital innovation initiatives within Adult Social Care
- Engage with operational staff, people with lived experience, carers, and external partners to co‐produce solutions
- Apply structured project management methodologies and maintain clear documentation
- Ensure compliance with legislation, policy, and strategic objectives
- Contribute to service plan objectives and uphold corporate commitments, including GDPR, safeguarding, equality, health and safety, and climate responsibility
- Support Category One emergency response duties as required
Candidate Requirements
- Degree‐level qualification in project management (or equivalent) with ongoing professional development
- Ideally trained in change management
- Strong knowledge of Adult Social Care, safeguarding, statutory frameworks, procurement, equality, and project management methodologies
- Extensive experience in leading teams, managing complex projects, partnership working, stakeholder engagement, budget monitoring, risk management, and delivering evidence‐based reports
- Excellent communication, analytical, planning, and organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously and engage stakeholders effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications and project planning tools
- Enhanced DBS within the last three years required
