About the Role
Our Client is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Plumber to support the maintenance and operation of mechanical, heating, hot and cold water systems within a busy and essential environment.
This is a hands-on role involving both planned and reactive maintenance, repairs, fault finding, and minor installation works.
You will work across a range of building services, ensuring facilities remain safe, compliant, and fully operational while delivering a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on mechanical, plumbing, heating, and water systems.
- Undertake minor installation works and maintenance projects.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on plant, equipment, and building services.
- Complete work requests efficiently and in line with agreed performance targets.
- Escort and supervise contractors undertaking inspections, repairs, and installations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, security, and operational procedures.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and accurate maintenance records.
- Participate in inspections, testing, audits, and equipment acceptance activities.
- Support the wider maintenance team and provide technical assistance where required.
- Travel between sites when necessary.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing, Refrigeration, Mechanical Services, or a related discipline.
- Specialism in a mechanical service area such as gas, refrigeration, heat pumps, or similar.
- Water Safety Training.
- Experience working on mechanical, heating, and plumbing systems.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical information and maintenance documentation.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Valid Standard DBS check.
