Our client, a respected education provider, is seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Sport & Public Services. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire learners, lead curriculum activity, and support student success within a supportive and forward-thinking team.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality teaching across Sport & Public Services programmes
- Provide engaging lessons using varied learning approaches
- Develop course materials, schemes of work, and lesson plans
- Lead a small course team and act as a course tutor when required
- Support the personal development and well-being of students
- Contribute to programme planning, evaluation, and updates
- Participate in recruitment, interviews, assessment and progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate course and student records
- Support marketing and employer engagement activities
- Collaborate with curriculum managers and colleagues to meet departmental goals
- Teach across other programme areas when reasonably required
- Uphold equality, diversity, safeguarding, and health & safety commitments
- Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
- Experience teaching or training in a relevant subject
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to motivate students and work effectively within a team
- Confident using a variety of teaching aids and ILT
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- A current and valid ENHANCED DBS is required.
