We have an amazing opportunity in Rotherham for an experienced Lecturer in Plumbing to help train the next generation of Plumbing students. Responsibilities for the role of Plumbing Lecturer:
- You will be responsible for delivering outstanding teaching and assessment up to Level 3, including study programmes, adult programmes and apprenticeships within Plumbing and Heating, in both a workshop and classroom environment.
- With an enthusiastic and engaging approach, you will motivate students and support them to achieve their potential.
- Equip the students with skills for their future through the delivery of outstanding education and training and inspire students to achieve their potential.
Specification for the role of Plumbing Lecturer:
- Previous experience in a relevant teaching/training role is essential.
- NVQ or Equivalent Level 3 Plumbing and heating.
- Assessors Award, minimum Teaching experience at Level 3 T Level desirable or Level 3 diplomas.
- At least a level 2 Literacy & Numeracy standard is required.
- Able to deliver to students of all levels and abilities, and to use flexible and innovative methods of delivery as required.
- Willing to undertake any training connected with the post and update own CPD.
- Good sickness/attendance record in current/previous employment, college or school as appropriate (not including absences resulting from disability).
- Ideally will have previous relevant work experience in industry/commerce within a specialist area.
- Preferably hold an assessment qualification (i.e. D32/D33 A1) or TAQA (or willingness to work towards).
- Ideally, have a sound understanding of Further Education Methodology.
