Our client is seeking a highly organised and motivated Paralegal to join their Personal Injury team. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a varied caseload while further developing your legal expertise within a supportive environment.
Role Summary
You will manage a mixed caseload of 20-30 personal injury matters, covering road traffic accidents, employer's liability, occupiers liability, public liability, and criminal injury claims. The role includes both pre-litigation and post-litigation work, predominantly claimant-focused.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing multi-track and fast-track cases independently
- Instructing medical experts, counsel, and external agencies
- Preparing court bundles, witness statements, applications, and costs schedules
- Liaising daily with insurers, solicitors, counsel, courts, experts, and clients
- Handling MOJ Portal claims, MedCo, AskCUE, and complying with relevant protocols
- Ensuring adherence to client care, funding rules, retainers, and money laundering regulations
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislation, CPR, evidence rules, and JCG guidelines
- Ensuring compliance with Lexcel, internal audits, and professional body requirements
- Completing billing tasks, working to strict deadlines
