Our client is a leading UK contract manufacturing business, supporting a wide range of industries through high-quality fabrication, welding and manufacturing services. As part of their continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their welding team with an experienced MIG / TIG Welder.

The Role

This role will focus on high-quality welding and fabrication work across a range of thin gauge materials. You will be working from engineering drawings, carrying out self-inspection of your work and ensuring products are manufactured to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out MIG and TIG welding on thin gauge materials
  • Weld and fabricate components using mild steel and stainless steel
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols
  • Carry out self-inspection and quality checks
  • Report progress and any production issues to the Team Leader
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
