Temporary, ongoing position with a salary of £12.71 per hour. Full time, Tuesday to Saturday, 08:30-18:00. Immediate start.
Role Overview: You will be responsible for the safe, efficient movement of stock across a busy distribution warehouse. This role suits someone who enjoys fast-paced work, takes pride in accuracy, and maintains high safety standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Safely operate counterbalance and/or reach trucks to move pallets of drinks, load/unload vehicles, and replenish pick locations.
- Ensure accurate movement of goods, maintain stock integrity, and follow rotation procedures.
- Adhere to all site safety rules, conduct daily equipment checks, and maintain a clean working environment.
- Support picking teams during busy periods, ensuring orders are completed accurately and on time.
- Work closely with warehouse supervisors and drivers to keep operations running smoothly.
Requirements:
- Valid FLT Licence Counterbalance and/or reach truck certification.
- Previous work in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
- Comfortable with manual handling and working on your feet.
- Ability to follow instructions, maintain stock accuracy, and pay attention to detail.
