We are looking for a skilled Digital Press Operator to join our clients busy Whitstable production team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced print environment and enjoys taking ownership of high quality digital print output from file creation to final production.
Responsibilities:
- Create print ready files preparing artwork to production standards, ensuring accuracy, colour consistency, and correct file formatting.
- Operate digital presses running and maintaining digital print equipment, monitoring output quality, and troubleshooting minor issues.
- Manage print production workflow coordinating jobs through the production schedule to meet deadlines.
- Add T cards into workflow system updating job status and ensuring all work is tracked accurately through the internal system.
- Quality checking printed materials to ensure they meet customer and production standards.
- Collaborating with the wider production team to maintain smooth, efficient operations.
