Role Summary: Our Client is seeking an experienced and passionate Head of Modern Slavery Services to lead and oversee the delivery of high-quality victim care services. This strategic role involves managing teams, developing partnerships, and ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and operational oversight for Modern Slavery Victim Care services.
- Line manage and support team managers, ensuring high performance and engagement.
- Develop strategic stakeholder engagement plans and represent the organisation at regional meetings.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and contractual requirements, audits, and quality standards.
- Coordinate management information, financial reporting, and service user engagement activities.
- Drive service development projects aligned with organisational strategy.
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a people management role.
- Experience working with victims of trafficking, asylum seekers, or refugees.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities.
- Excellent IT skills (MS Office).
Special Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS/PVG/Access NI check and Counter Terrorist Check. - This will be completed for you.
- Willingness to travel across the UK and participate in out-of-hours on-call rota.
