About the Role: Our client is seeking an experienced Project Engineer with strong HVAC expertise to join their team. You will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and delivering technical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within specification, and within budget. This is a varied and rewarding role requiring excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the technical, quality, delivery, and commercial aspects of assigned projects.
- Ensure all work is completed safely in line with standards and company procedures.
- Deliver projects on time and within budget using effective project management principles.
- Design, validate and deliver engineered equipment solutions.
- Manage supply chain activities to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
- Prepare technical documentation for client approval.
- Liaise with clients to represent both project requirements and business needs.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support all project objectives.
- Manage smaller standalone project contracts where required.
- Identify and promote opportunities for process or quality improvements.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar engineering environment.
- HVAC project experience is essential.
- HND/Degree in engineering, manufacturing or related technical field.
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Excellent communication, organisational and people-management abilities.
- Strong understanding of risk management and customer expectation balancing.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and project-based environments.
