Our client, a well-established healthcare organisation, is seeking a skilled Estates Craftsperson – Mechanical to join their busy Estates and Facilities team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified mechanical engineer or plumber to work across a diverse estate, maintaining vital systems that support the delivery of essential services. The role offers technical variety, ongoing training, overtime opportunities and the chance to work with specialist equipment and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
* Diagnose and rectify faults on mechanical systems and plant.
* Maintain heating, steam, plumbing, water, HVAC and associated systems.
* Service and repair specialist equipment including sterilisation and decontamination systems.
* Undertake installation and improvement projects.
* Complete inspection, testing and commissioning activities.
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety and industry regulations.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
* Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues where required.
About You
* Must have Level 3 Qualifications / AM 1 and 2
* City & Guilds Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing Services or equivalent.
* Experience in mechanical maintenance and fault-finding.
* Knowledge of heating, water, plumbing, HVAC or steam systems.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
