We are working confidentially with a leading and rapidly expanding food manufacturer to recruit an experienced Production Director. This is a pivotal leadership role overseeing factory operations, driving efficiency, and supporting significant growth across UK and European markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all day-to-day factory production operations
  • Oversee multiple departments and shift structures
  • Deliver production targets, efficiency, and on-time output
  • Drive continuous improvement, reducing waste and downtime
  • Ensure compliance with BRCGS, HACCP, and food safety standards
  • Optimise production flow, systems, and factory performance
  • Develop SOPs, KPIs, and operational reporting structures
  • Lead, coach, and develop production management teams

  • Control labour, cost, waste, and operational expenditure
  • Support new product launches and process scale-up

  • Senior leadership experience in food manufacturing
  • Must speak fluent Mandarin
  • Strong background in frozen or high-volume FMCG environments
  • Proven success in improving productivity, efficiency, and cost control
