About the role
As a Student Engagement Officer, you will build and maintain strong relationships with employers to create clear progression pathways into work and apprenticeships. You will focus on securing employer involvement for Construction Bootcamps and Sector-Based Academy Programmes, giving learners access to vacancies, insights, guaranteed interviews, and employment routes.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, contact, and engage employers across construction, education, and related sectors
- Secure employers with live vacancies willing to:
- Deliver employer talks
- Provide workplace insights
- Share organisational values and career pathways
- Offer guaranteed interviews
Requirements
- Experience in employer engagement or recruitment
- Confident communicator able to build strong professional relationships
- Knowledge of construction, education, or employment support programmes is beneficial
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Ability to work flexibly within a team
- A current and valid ENHANCED DBS
