Salary: Β£46,000 per annum DOE.

4-on/4-off shifts.

Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (12-hour shifts, days and nights).

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned maintenance to maximise machinery uptime
  • Respond to reactive maintenance tasks, minimising downtime
  • Work on electrical installations up to 440V and safety circuits
  • Diagnose faults using mechanical and electrical root cause analysis
  • Support the Maintenance team in achieving zero breakdowns

Essential Skills & Experience

  • NVQ Level 3+ in Engineering with 5+ years' electrical/mechanical experience
  • Electrical Engineering apprenticeship, ideally in manufacturing
  • Strong problem-solving skills under pressure
  • Knowledge of AC/DC motors and variable speed drives

Desirable

  • 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
  • Experience in 24/7 manufacturing environments
  • Basic welding techniques
