As an Electrical Design Engineer, you’ll work on a variety of projects across the residential, commercial, mixed-use, and education sectors. You’ll play a key role in shaping sustainable solutions while developing your career with a company committed to growth and professional development. Key Responsibilities * Develop technical electrical designs through to Stage 4/5 in line with company standards and timescales. * Produce MEP designs, calculations, and specifications using relevant software. * Monitor and review drawings for accuracy and quality assurance. * Prepare and maintain detailed design documentation, schedules, and energy modelling reports. * Liaise with clients, project teams, and senior management to support smooth project delivery. * Undertake site surveys, including the use of LiDAR scanning tools. * Issue and respond to design-related RFIs. * Contribute to energy modelling assessments and sustainable design initiatives. Requirements * Degree in Building Services Engineering (or equivalent). * Proven experience in electrical design within building services. * Knowledge of Revit, Hevacomp, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office. * Strong understanding of building regulations and low-carbon design. * Excellent organisational, communication, and client-facing skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. * Full UK driving licence.
