The Company:
Our client is a well-established international manufacturer with a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and customer service. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Production Administrator to join their operations team in Dartford.
The Role:
Working closely with the production planning team and factory supervisors, you will help ensure the smooth flow of orders through the manufacturing process. This is a varied position combining administration, scheduling, communication, and planning support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily production planning and scheduling activities
- Maintain and update shop floor schedules
- Provide lead times for new orders
- Assist with general production and departmental administration
- Monitor stock levels to support customer requirements
- Prioritise late customer orders and adjust workloads accordingly
- Support other Production Planners when required
- Communicate large orders to assist resource planning
- Work closely with factory supervisors to maximise efficiency
- Help ensure daily production targets are achieved
Skills and Experience:
- Strong computer skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
- Reliable, hardworking, and conscientious
