Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a Print Shop Operator to join their busy production team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with flatbed printing experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
The Role
As a Print Shop Operator, you will be responsible for operating printing machinery, supporting production schedules, and maintaining quality standards across the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor flatbed printing equipment
- Support daily production demands and workflow priorities
- Work closely with supervisors and team leaders to meet customer requirements
- Identify and report quality, equipment, material, or process concerns
- Use problem-solving skills to ensure smooth machine operation
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow company quality procedures and operating standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Comply with all health and safety requirements
- Help minimise production delays and ensure jobs are completed on time
- Undertake training relevant to the role
Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum 1 year of flatbed printing experience
- Strong communication skills
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Good computer skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
