About the Role
As a Customer Order Management Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, overseeing the entire order life cycle to ensure seamless processing and fulfilment. Your role will involve managing orders from entry to completion, liaising with distribution centres and manufacturing plants, and ensuring excellent customer communication throughout.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full order life cycle, from entry and modifications to fulfilment and logistics
- Act as the main contact for customers, internal teams, and external partners
- Resolve customer queries and, if necessary, elevate complex issues
- Ensure compliance with export policies and prepare necessary shipping documentation
- Generate and distribute internal and customer reports
- Drive process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction
What We're Looking For
- Customer Service Expertise: Strong background in customer support with a proactive and detail-oriented approach
- Tech‑Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams (Oracle experience is a bonus)
- Collaboration & Communication: Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with diverse teams
- Problem‑solving: A results‑driven mindset with the ability to handle challenges efficiently
- Knowledge of Supply Chain & Logistics: Not mandatory, but highly beneficial
Qualifications & Experience
- GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent is required; a college or university degree is preferred
- Previous experience in customer order management, account management, or supply chain operations
- Strong proficiency in MS Office; experience with Oracle is advantageous
