Location: Ashford

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Contract: 6 months

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

We are recruiting confidentially on behalf of our client for an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team on a 6-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to add value in a busy environment while enhancing your experience within a well-established organisation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the sales ledger
  • Proactively chase outstanding invoices via phone and email
  • Reduce aged debt and improve cash flow
  • Allocate incoming payments and resolve discrepancies
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams
  • Produce aged debt reports and provide updates to management
  • Support month-end processes as required

What our client is looking for:

  • Proven experience in a Credit Controller or similar role
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work to targets and deadlines
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Competent IT skills, including Excel
