Our Client is seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to join their team in Birchington on a temp-to-perm basis. This part-time role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and enjoys working independently. You will play an important role in ensuring a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for staff, visitors, and customers, contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the site.
Working Hours
- Monday: 3:00pm – 9:00pm
- Wednesday: 3:00pm – 8:00pm
- Friday: 3:00pm – 8:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general cleaning duties across designated areas
- Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and surfaces
- Empty bins and dispose of waste correctly
- Clean washrooms and replenish consumable supplies
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the premises
- Keep cleaning equipment and storage areas tidy and organised
- Follow all relevant health and safety procedures
- Ensure allocated tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard
About You
- Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Able to work independently and use initiative
- Hold a current and valid Basic DBS certificate
