The Opportunity
Morgan Jones is recruiting on behalf of a well-established facilities management and building services organisation seeking an experienced Mechanical Plumber to join its small works team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance of commercial and domestic heating installations.
- Work on boilers, pipework, valves, pumps, controls, and associated mechanical equipment.
- Complete installation and maintenance of plumbing, drainage, and sanitation systems.
- Diagnose faults and undertake effective problem-solving across mechanical systems.
- Investigate plant performance and system efficiency issues.
- Carry out testing and certification within the scope of qualifications held.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and in line with industry standards.
- Maintain excellent client relationships and service delivery standards.
Requirements
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or a related discipline.
- Experience working on commercial gas heating systems.
- Experience within plant room installations.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
