About the Role: Our Client is seeking a proactive and commercially driven Structural Steel Salesperson to support the growth of their structural steel business. This role focuses on winning new business, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring accurate, competitive quotations for a range of commercial and residential projects. Working closely with operations and production teams, you will play a key role in managing the sales process from initial enquiry through to handover, ensuring projects transition smoothly into production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and secure new business opportunities across commercial and residential sectors
- Follow up on quotations and maintain regular contact with clients
- Re-engage with previous customers and identify opportunities for repeat business
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations, ensuring clarity on scope and pricing
- Ensure all pricing aligns with project requirements and protects business margins
- Communicate proactively with clients to resolve queries and manage expectations
- Identify potential project issues early and provide solutions
- Ensure all project information is clearly documented and handed over to production teams
- Maintain organised project records and follow internal processes

- Previous experience in sales and have strong knowledge and understanding of steel
