Due to continued growth, they are seeking experienced Catering Service Engineers to join their team in Bovington.
The Role
As a Catering Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, repairing and installing commercial catering equipment to ensure assets remain safe, compliant and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair commercial catering equipment.
- Carry out fault finding on electrical, gas and refrigeration systems.
- Complete reactive and planned preventative maintenance works.
- Install and commission catering equipment.
- Source and order cost-effective spare parts.
- Advise clients on equipment use and maintenance best practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues.
- Supervise and support apprentices or junior engineers when required.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Requirements
- CCN1 (or COCDN1)
- COCN1 (or CODNCO1)
- CIGA1
- CDGA1LL
- COMCAT 1-5
- Level 3 Electrical Qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience fault-finding on control systems
- Strong knowledge of maintenance techniques
- Excellent customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence
