Our Client is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to oversee quality assurance and compliance within a busy packhouse environment. This role is critical in ensuring food safety, legality, and adherence to BRCGS standards, while supporting operational efficiency and audit readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Quality Assurance team, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and company standards.
  • Prepare for and support external audits, responding to auditor queries.
  • Maintain product specifications and ensure traceability across products and packaging.
  • Conduct internal audits, hygiene checks, and compliance spot checks.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints, implementing corrective actions.
  • Monitor KPIs and prepare monthly reports for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and company procedures.

About You

  • Strong understanding of fresh produce standards and specifications.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in a production environment preferred.
