Estates Craftsperson – Mechanical Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk Salary: £14.32 per hour Full Time | Temporary Our client, a well-established healthcare organisation, is seeking a skilled Estates Craftsperson – Mechanical to join their busy Estates and Facilities team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified mechanical engineer or plumber to work across a diverse estate, maintaining vital systems that support the delivery of essential services. The role offers technical variety, ongoing training, overtime opportunities and the chance to work with specialist equipment and infrastructure. About You * Must have Level 3 Qualifications / AM 1 and 2 * City & Guilds Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing Services or equivalent. * Experience in mechanical maintenance and fault-finding. * Knowledge of heating, water, plumbing, HVAC or steam systems. * Good communication and organisational skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces when required. * Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional weekends and on-call duties. Desirable: * HNC in Mechanical Engineering. * HVAC qualification. * Experience within a hospital or healthcare environment.
